Stalwart Edmonton musician Everett LaRoi has returned for his first solo album in 25 years. The singer-songwriter has made his name holding down guitar and vocal duties for local bands such as the jangly Idyl Tea in the '80s, crunchy folk-rockers Manraygun in the early 2000s, to the more recent atmospheric, electronics-infused Goldtop. With his new release, Morning Stars Mournings Hush, LaRoi casts the spotlight solely on his sturdy songwriting chops alongside musical help from friends. Read More
