More than 300 Afghans arrive in Canada as Ottawa inches closer to 40,000 resettlement goal

Afghan refugees arrive in Canada April 12, 2023

Hundreds of people from Afghanistan arrived in Canada on Wednesday, bringing the total number of Afghans resettled since the Taliban takeover of that country to more than 30,000, the federal government said.
