Hannah Bearskin gave birth to her second child, a boy named Koa, at 4:34 a.m. on Sept. 22 in a large traditional teepee built near Chisasibi, in northern Quebec. Koa was delivered with the help of 90-year-old elder and former midwife, Jane Matthew.
