Review: First Chamberfest West ends with triumphant Hungarian-themed program

   The fifth and final event in the inaugural season of Chamberfest West, Calgary's new chamber music festival, was held at the Bella Concert Hall on the campus of Mount Royal University earlier this month. The concert, a Hungarian-themed event, featured works by Haydn and Bartok, with the concert (and festival) rounded out with Brahms's Piano Quartet in G minor, its over-the-top gipsy finale a perfect item to celebrate the success of this important, new venture.
