Three to See: All-Canadian Winter, PRG group show and Lawrence Hill online

All-Canadian Winter: A brand-new, multi-day winter event is coming to the University of Alberta Botanic Garden over the next few weekends, starting Saturday. Guests of all ages can try outdoor activities including kicksledding, ice carving and snowshoeing — all included with admission — then take a load off and enjoy live music, cabane a sucre and hot chocolate by an open fire. The first of these are three, 1.5-hour snowshoe tours by Métis geologist Keith Diakiw through the Alpine and Indigenous gardens, as well as some old-forest growth. Registration is required, and the full schedule is at botanicgarden.ualberta.ca. Read More
