Most Calgarians are familiar with the downtown Eau Claire neighbourhood, nestled on the bank of the Bow River. A mix of condos, restaurants, hotels, shops and a large urban market call the area home. The Eau Claire name is also a familiar one because the original "Eau Claire and Bow River Lumber Ltd." company office was home to a popular cafe in the area for years.
