Question: I live on the third floor of a condominium building. The unit above me on the fourth floor had a flood and the water damaged my unit. The condominium corporation repaired my unit. It is my understanding that the condominium corporation’s insurance was used to pay for the repairs. During the repairs, I was unable to live in my unit. I incurred daily living expenses of $150 per day. I asked my condominium corporation to reimburse me for my daily living expenses and they refused.
